The hot weather finally broke just in time for the "end of season" joint trail ride
with Keswick Hunt on Saturday, August 24th at beautiful Mint Meadows. Due to the
generosity of land owners, JB Birdsall, Anita Vere-Nicholl and Alesandro Valmarana,
a large group had a lovely ride across some fabulous territory. The ride was
followed by a delicious dinner organized by Shelly Thompson. Thank you to all
that contributed to the dinner and drinks! As always, a big thank you to Matthew
for handling the tent assembly and take down, and to Carter Hilliard for opening
Mint Meadows for our use as well as mowing the parking area. In addition, a special
thank you to Anita for helping plot out a great ride that was enjoyed by all.
